A New Vision for Clothed In Scarlet

Hello friends!

In case you hadn't noticed, I've been a little quiet on the blog lately. It's been a whole two months since I wrote something...

It wasn't the lack of ideas; I have a long running list of topics for articles, blog series, freebies and useful products.

The truth is, we kind of got swamped with work over the past couple of months. Our business had grown and we had quite a few projects running simultaneously.

We were also experiencing growing pains as our team tried to adjust and find a new normal. With the holiday season and everything, we were completely thrown off balance.

It was only toward the beginning of January that we kind of regained momentum, and we're slowly starting to get back on track.

I was eager to get back to writing on Clothed In Scarlet, but I didn't want to get started without first consulting with God.

So, that's what I did in the month of January.

I spent time in the presence of God and asked Him what He had in mind for Clothed in Scarlet. And He gave me just the word I was looking for.

"How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights." – Psalm 36:7-8

As I read this passage, I knew God was giving me clear guidance on what He wanted me to accomplish through Clothed in Scarlet.

The vision, as I understood, was three-fold.

1. Love on People

God wants me to teach others about the unfailing love of God. He also expects me to offer the same kind of love to those who reach out to me through my website.

I want those who visit Clothed In Scarlet and interact with me to feel loved and cared for, because they are.

2. Offer a Place of Refuge

God wants Clothed In Scarlet to be a place of refuge for His people. Just as He offers us refuge under His wings, He wants the site to be a safe haven for those who are struggling.

No matter what people may be going through in their lives or their businesses, I want them to feel comfortable on my site. I want to build that kind of trust with my audience, so they feel my website is a safe place where they can find refuge.

3. Provide a Feast of Information

God wants us to feast on His abundance. And it is that kind of abundance that He wants me to provide through my website.

We already have tons of helpful resources on Clothed In Scarlet. I hope to make it more accessible and provide more actionable information at the right time to meet people's needs.

I was so grateful to get this kind of clear leading from God on how He wants me to proceed with Clothed In Scarlet. In the weeks to come, I hope to have a clear action plan that would make this vision a reality.

I hope you will join us as we embark on a remarkable journey to glorify God through our businesses.

Have a blessed day!

Love from India,
Sunu Philip
