I hope you had a great weekend and an even greater week last week. Can you believe we are half-way through January already? I'm looking at my calendar and freaking out at what I've got going on... Travel + Freelancing One of the things I get asked a lot on the blog is, is it really possible to travel and run a profitable freelancing business at the same time. The short answer is yes, the longer answer is that it takes some planning and understanding of how you work as a freelancer. When I first started freelancing, my motto was "have laptop, will travel" because I was using freelancing to travel. And while that's not the case for me anymore, it is an extremely viable way to see the world and make some moola! The first guest blog post for 2016 is from a friend of mine who provides a number of strategies to travel while you're freelancing, so give it a read if it's something you're considering this year! "Do more of what makes you happy..." What I've been up to this week: This week I've been busy interviewing for the bonus case studies for the Side Hustle Blueprint course. You guys are gonna love who I've been chatting to! One clear theme that came out of my discussions with all six of these amazing side hustlers is that the only way the balance their life is through being very clear on why it is they do what they do. So if you're thinking about 2016 being the year you start your side hustle, make sure you're very clear on WHY you're doing it.
